BRAND NEW from our Vintage Brush Collection comes Grumbacher's series 187 Ruben Red Sable Watercor Brush. Rare indeed, an American made brush,circa 19??. Made by Grumbacher's master brush makers at their 34th(37th?) Street New York City Headquarters. There's a debate as to whether the 187 series were actually Kolinskys or "super extra fine red sables" as the handle reads. We'll assume the later,albeit our conservative assumption might prove incorrect.
Never-the-less they are 100% Pure Red Sable and they are stunning.
